Stand to Shine!
In this message from Daniel chapter 3, we learn from Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego what it means to stand firm when the world bows down. King Nebuchadnezzar demanded everyone to worship his golden image, but these three young men refused to compromise their faith, choosing instead to trust and honor the one true God. Their courage reminds us that faith is not based on circumstances but on conviction, and true worship is not conditional on what God does, but on who God is.
Today, we too face pressures to bow to the idols of our culture—comfort, acceptance, success, and fear. Yet God calls us to shine for Him, to stand when others bow, and to live according to truth rather than convenience. This sermon challenges us to ask: What have I resolved to do, and what have I resolved not to do, regardless of the physical, social, or financial cost?
