Sex Matters!
 February 8, 2026 •  Randy Eliason  •   Corinthians 5–6

In 1 Corinthians 5–6, Paul addresses a church shaped more by culture than by God’s design, especially in the area of sexuality. This message reminds us that Jesus did not come to shame us for our sin, but to save us from it—and that His commands are meant for our good. Scripture teaches that sexual immorality is not merely a private issue, but a spiritual one. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, created for the Lord and called to glorify Him. In a world that treats sex as casual and commitment-free, God invites us back to a sacred vision—sex as a self-giving expression of love, rooted in covenant, responsibility, and faithfulness. “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
