Outcasts No More!
Week 7 of Close Encounters with Jesus takes us to John 9:24–38, where Jesus meets a man born blind—and turns an outcast into a worshiper.
The story begins with a man who had never seen light. Jesus heals him in a way that confounds the religious leaders: on the Sabbath, using mud and compassion. What follows is not just a miracle of sight, but a revelation of truth.
The healed man stands courageously before the Pharisees, refusing to deny what Jesus did.
He says simply, “I was blind, but now I see.”
While the Pharisees cling to their pride and traditions, Jesus seeks out the man they cast away—and welcomes him into faith.
The Pharisees chose exclusion; Jesus chose restoration.
He still finds those who have been rejected and says, “You are outcasts no more.”
Join us as we discover how Jesus turns rejection into redemption and blindness into belief.
