Blessed Are the Grateful!
Jul 5, 2026
This week we begin our summer sermon series, Close Encounters with Jesus.
In our first message, we look at the story of ten lepers who cried out for mercy — and the one who returned to give thanks. Jesus not only healed their bodies, He restored their dignity, their community, and their hope.
Gratitude is more than a polite response; it is the mark of a transformed heart. The grateful don’t live with entitlement, they keep God’s blessings in focus, they value the Giver above the gift, and they make thanksgiving a daily habit. In a world full of ungrateful hearts, Jesus calls us to be the one who turns back.
Be the grateful one.
