1 Corinthians Reading Plan

Restoring Shalom: Gods call to Unity and Holiness
INTRODUCTION

Beginning January 13 and continuing until Easter Sunday, we invite you to join us on a meaningful and transformative journey through First Corinthians using the SOAP Bible study method. This journey is more than reading Scripture—it is an opportunity to meet Jesus in a way that shapes our hearts, our relationships, and our community.
Our series is titled “From Disunity to Community.

The church in Corinth was gifted, passionate, and full of potential—yet deeply divided. Paul writes this letter to a community wrestling with pride, confusion, and competing ideas about what it means to follow Christ. Through every chapter, Paul calls God’s people back to shalom: a life formed by unity, holiness, sacrificial love, and the renewing power of the gospel.

This 36‑day reading plan guides us through the letter section by section, revealing Paul’s pastoral heart as he addresses real struggles with gospel-centered wisdom. Each day highlights a key theme—from unity in Christ, to Spirit‑empowered maturity, to love as the highest way, to the hope of the resurrection.

As we walk through these passages, we learn how the gospel heals division, reshapes our desires, and forms us into a community that reflects the character of Christ.

Our prayer is that as we read, meditate, and respond, God would restore His shalom in us—making us a people marked by unity, holiness, and love for one another.
